About the winery
Joan Ametller SL is a winery founded in 2003 and located on the Mas Mustardó estate in La Morera de Montsant. It is run by a family with a winegrowing tradition spanning seven generations. It has two estates of its own: one, where the winery and the youngest vines are, and the other in the municipality of Porrera, where the oldest vines are planted on steep slopes (costers). Together they total 22 hectares of vineyards. A wide range of red wines is made (mainly from the typical Garnacha), as well as whites and rosés, which is not very common in the Priorat DOQ.
