About the winery
The winery is located in the ancestral home where Joan Simó, grandfather of the current owner, was born. It can make and store 25,000 bottles. It started in 1999 with a production of 1,100 bottles and now produces 20,000, with grapes from very old vineyards on steep slopes. Part of the vineyard is in Bellmunt del Priorat and the rest in Porrera. Much of it is Garnacha and Cariñena, the Priorat's native varieties par excellence.
