About the winery
Celler Jordi Domènech was born in the Priorat in 2006 out of fascination with the wines of this region. The winery is clearly committed to quality wine in limited production, vinifying grapes from its own vineyards (Garnacha and Samsó) plus a selection of Syrah that strengthens the blend. It makes Clos Penat, an aged red, and Petit Clos Penat, a young red blend with some ageing. Late harvest with medium extraction and careful ageing in French oak barrels until the wine reaches its optimum point.
