Celler La Llena

About the winery

Celler La Llena is the small project of Ernest and Iris, two farmers making wine at around 900 metres above sea level in Vilanova de Prades, in the D.O. Conca de Barberà. They handcraft high-altitude natural wines, both still and ancestral-method sparkling, from vines planted on llicorella, the slate that shapes the character of the area. Their visits are personal and can be tailored: from the classic winery experience, with a tasting and nibbles of local produce, to a walk through the plots with a tasting among the vines, a deep dive into their ancestral sparklers including a disgorging demonstration, or a full tour of all their wines. They also run an apartment in the village for those who want to stay the night.
