About the winery
Celler Mas Doix, S.L. is a winery created by the Doix and Llagostera families in 1998, reviving a tradition begun in 1850. The gold and silver medals won at the 1888 Barcelona Universal Exposition and the 1878 Paris Universal Exposition remind us of the passion with which Juan Estrems Doix, Juan Doix's grandfather, already tended the vineyards and made the wines. Phylloxera did not drive the family away from the vines, which were replanted with the Priorat's native Garnacha and Cariñena to keep winegrowing alive.
