About the winery
Primitiu de Bellmunt is the fruit of the Bartolomé family's vineyards. Like many other Priorat families, Josep Bartolomé made wine for family consumption and to sell in bulk. The survival of this legacy of old vines is a tribute to Josep Bartolomé's life of hard work through the difficult years of the 1960s and 1970s, when many Priorat vineyards were abandoned.
