About the winery
VidBertus is a family project in L’Espluga de Francolí, at the south-eastern end of the Conca de Barberà, which now operates as Celler Mas de la Creu. It makes D.O. Conca de Barberà wines from native varieties and its own harvest, on an estate over 500 metres above sea level, with sharp temperature swings between day and night and mineral soils coming down from the Prades mountains and the Serra del Tallat. Its signature variety is Trepat, which it makes as a white, rosé and red, alongside white and red Grenache, Parellada and Garrut. They farm organically, harvest by hand and intervene as little as possible. They offer winery visits with a tasting of three wines, paired breakfasts in their 1890 cellar and 4x4 tours of the vineyards with a tasting of four wines.
