About the winery
When we planted our first vines in the 1980s, we chose a place unique for its soil: on the shores of the Mediterranean, in a setting full of ancient history, among vineyards that hide remains of the old Via Augusta, which connected Rome with Roman Tarraco and the most important cities of the Mediterranean. An inspiration, a way of paying tribute to a remarkable road, which gives its name to our winery and to our wines and vinegars: Avgvstvs and Forvm.
