About the winery
In 1988 the Carbonell Figueras family, with a long winemaking tradition of more than 300 years, began the Clos Montblanc winery project. It is located in Barberà de la Conca, very close to two emblematic places in the history of Catalonia: the fortified town of Montblanc and the monastery of Poblet. A land full of history and traditions where the Cistercian monks settled almost a thousand years ago with the aim of seeking the path to perfection. A spirit present in the soul of our inhabitants that is reflected in the way its people work.
