Corrales Espinosa Family Wines

About the winery

Corrales Espinosa Family Wines is a winery in Valdepeñas, in the province of Ciudad Real, within the D.O. Valdepeñas, devoted to making, ageing and bottling signature wines. It is linked to winemaker José Manuel Corrales, co-founder of the Asociación Maestros Bodegueros and one of the signatories of the statutes of the new D.O. Valdepeñas inter-professional body. Since its first vintage in 2017, the project has aimed to recover and showcase old vineyards in the area. Its wine José Manuel Corrales Viñas Viejas is a Tempranillo from vines between 50 and 100 years old in San Carlos del Valle and Valdepeñas, which received 17.5 points in Jancis Robinson's publication. It also makes La Exaltación, a Tempranillo aged in French oak barrels.
