About the winery
Dobledeperez is a family micro-winery in the centre of Albatana, Albacete, within the D.O.P. Jumilla. It is run by the Pérez Pérez siblings: Maribel in management, José as grower and Jennifer as winemaker, carrying on thirty years of their parents' work in the vineyard. Their main estate is in the Hoya de Santa Ana, in Tobarra, at around 900 metres, with Monastrell as the main variety, while their Verdejo and Moscatel plots are in Albatana. They make natural, minimal-intervention wines, with no additives or sulphites, fermenting in clay jars and ageing in French oak. Their wines include La Jarana, La Irreverente, Ingobernable, Inaudita, En Contacto and Camaleónica. In their wine bar, overlooking the winery, they are tasted paired with tapas.
