About the winery
Enológica Wamba is the winery in Pampliega, in the province of Burgos, where Alfonso Sicilia makes the Friki wines, in a land with more than twelve centuries of winemaking tradition. The project prides itself on its partners handling everything, from pruning and harvesting to label design, with vineyards farmed without chemicals or pesticides and limited editions of around three hundred bottles. The Friki family includes Friki de Burgos, a rosé, an orange wine and a Verdejo, as well as a vermouth made from a recipe in an 1850 book from Turin, with no added sugar or artificial flavourings. The range is completed by Lyna, a Verdejo, and Ambisna, a Godello. The winery also offers tastings on request.
