About the winery
Esteve i Gibert Viticultors, like so many others in the Penedès, is a story of generations of vine growing, of families devoted to grape production. In 2009 this story took a step forward. Josep Esteve suggested to his daughter, Laura, and his son-in-law, the young winemaker Albert López, that they make wine at the farmhouse again, as had been done in the past. Thus the smallest winery in the D.O. was born. The family estate has 19 ha of its own vineyards on the shaded side of the Ordal, which are farmed organically.
