Finca Escudero is in Santa Brígida, in the mid-altitude zone of Gran Canaria, at around 560 metres, where the climate and volcanic soil favour vines and olive trees. The project is driven by Juan Escudero, a lover of viticulture since childhood, who brings together two family traditions: that of his father, a grape grower in Corella (Navarre), and that of his mother's family, the Del Castillo, pioneers of wine in the Canary Islands in the 17th century. The vineyard has around 4,000 vines of Tempranillo, Syrah and Marmajuelo, from which it makes three wines, a young red, an oak-aged red and a white, all bottled on the estate. It offers guided tours of the estate, in Spanish or English, with a tasting of the house wine and other local products.
