About the winery
In 2012 Flysch txakoli, made at the Gorosti winery by the Etxabe-Etxaniz family, came onto the market. Juan Mª Etxabe is the fourth generation of txakoli makers. Besides making txakoli, his ancestors were barrel makers. At the Gorosti farmhouse in the San Miguel district of Zumaia there are vines up to 100 years old, and with the grapes grown on its plots txakoli was made for family consumption.
