About the winery
It was Roberto Verino's maternal grandparents, vine growers in the Ribeira Sacra area, who sparked his curiosity about the noble art of winemaking. “Understanding wine as a pleasure to be shared around a table and good conversation with friends. From these unique moments the Gargalo winery was born.” The setting of the Castle of Monterrei was chosen to make his idea a reality.
