Guilella Agrícola
About the winery
Guilella Agrícola is an estate of about 150 hectares, mostly woodland, within the Sierra de Mariola Natural Park, in the municipality of Bocairent and the D.O. Valencia. It is home to the traditional farmhouse Mas de Guilella, where several families once lived off their own oil, wine and cereals. Today it is a small producer that makes the most of Mariola's altitude to craft whites from Chardonnay and Riesling and reds from Pinot Noir, among other varieties, with names that recall the springs of the sierra: Font de l'Arbre, Font de la Carrasca, Font de la Coveta and Font Freda. Besides wine, the estate produces olive oil and almonds, and its wines are sold mainly to restaurants and hotels.
