About the winery
Herencia Altés has one of the most enviable locations in the district, with views of the Ports de Tortosa-Beseit, Pàndols and Cavalls. It is a privileged setting that the winery looks after, with projects to protect the native flora and fauna. It is one of the largest wineries in the Terra Alta and one of those offering the most facilities for wine tourism. Its story is commendable: in 2010 it became a reality thanks to the dream of Nuria Altés, born in Batea into a family of winegrowers, and Rafael de Haan, born in England and also experienced in wine exporting.
