About the winery
Heretat Baltà de Cela is a family estate in Guardiola de Font-Rubí, in the heart of the Alt Penedès and within the D.O. Penedès, reviving the brand created in 1889 by Josep Baltà de Cela. It makes and sells its own organic wines from its own vineyards, as well as an extra virgin Arbequina olive oil from the same estate. Its wines focus on Penedès white varieties, with Xarel·lo Heretat Baltà de Cela and Parellada Heretat Baltà de Cela as the main labels. The winery is in Vilafranca del Penedès. By appointment it offers a walk through the farmhouse's vineyards and olive groves with a paired tasting in the open air, a visit to the Vilafranca winery with a tasting, and a private experience with the owner that includes wines and oils.
