Jaume de Puntiró

About the winery

The Celler Jaume de Puntiró, vinyes i vins was founded in 1980 by Jaume Calafat i Nadal and is currently run by his sons Pere and Bernat Calafat i Vich. The winemaking tradition comes, on the maternal side, from the Vich family of Ca Sa Consellera, who have made wine since the early 19th century, and on the paternal side from the Calafat family, who made wine on the Puntiró estate. The winery is located in Santa Maria del Camí, where the winemaking tradition goes back to the Catalan conquest (13th century).
