About the winery
Leo&Niné Wines is a winery in Castillazuelo, in the province of Huesca, within the D.O. Somontano. It describes itself as a laid-back wine house that wants to give traditional wine a contemporary feel. Its vineyards grow at the foot of the Pyrenees, watered by snowmelt, and are tended by hand, with pruning in winter and shoot thinning in spring. The wines are made with traditional fermentation and aged in steel tanks and oak barrels. The range includes the Vivette whites, made from Gewürztraminer and from Chardonnay, the Crush rosé, the Compartir family, with a crianza of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and a Merlot reserva, and the Estadilla Olvena line in white, rosé and a Tempranillo red. They are fresh, easy-drinking wines made for sharing.
