The Andreu Roca Vaqué winery, founded in 1950 by the family's grandfather, Joaquín Roca Santjuan, is located in Batea, in the Terra Alta district, a dry-farming territory where vine growing and wine production have a tradition dating back to medieval times. It is a family winery that in recent years has adapted to modernise its techniques for making, bottling and storing wines. The main attraction of Les Vinyes d'Andreu is its wines and its “Vall de Vinyes” brand, which comes under the Terra Alta Denominación de Origen.
