About the winery
Ludens is a family business run by oenologist Maura Rovira. The Sans-Rovira family has 50 hectares of vineyards where the native Penedès varieties are grown: Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada. In 1984 total cava production was 30,000 bottles a year; today it stands at more than 150,000 and is growing steadily, with exports to Europe, the United States and China.
