About the winery
The known wine history of this estate began more than 300 years ago; a cellar from that date is preserved at Casa Benasal. However, in the Iberian settlement on the crest of the neighbouring mountain, wine remains dating from the 4th century BC were found. Manuela Galbis, the founder's mother, began producing wine at Casa Gran in the 1960s.
