The Pazo de Casanova winery, which has made highly regarded wines over the last fifteen years, was recently acquired by the wine group Grandes Pagos Gallegos de Viticultura Tradicional. This group aims to make wines based on native Galician varieties wherever they best express themselves and currently owns wineries in the Ribeiro D.O., the Rías Baixas D.O. and the Monterrei D.O.
