Adega A Corga, run by the company Pereimos 2007, is in Piñeiro, A Pobra de Trives, within the D.O. Ribeira Sacra. The winery occupies a house documented since 1480, with a baroque doorway bearing a coat of arms, at the heart of a 37-hectare estate that runs down to the Bibei valley before it meets the Sil. The Pereira Salgueiro family bought the estate in 2010, after decades of abandonment, and brought it back by planting vines and chestnut trees; their first vintage of Corga came out in 2014 and the first organic Corga in 2018. They farm organically, mainly Brancellao for reds and Godello for whites, plus Mencía, with native yeasts, and also make Enigma, a multi-varietal white fermented in barrel. They invite visitors to get in touch to see the vineyard and winery.
