Pla de Morei
About the winery
Pla de Morei is a family winery in La Torre de Claramunt, in the Anoia area, within the D.O. Catalunya, which presents itself as growers of the Anoia. The project began over twenty years ago to recover the land where the family has lived for generations: in 1915 their forebears left La Segarra to settle at the Mas Rossinyol farmhouse, on the estate, and like many local families ended up combining farming with the paper industry. The estate, beside the river Gost, is farmed organically and its wines blend native and international varieties, grouped into the Orígens, Fusta, Mercè Sanguesa and Històrica collections. They offer a guided visit through the vineyards and cellar with a tasting of their wines, and a cheese pairing.
