About the winery
Sabaté i Mur Vinaters is a small family winery on Carrer Major in Torroja del Priorat, within the D.O.Ca. Priorat. It was set up to revive vine growing on land inherited from parents and grandparents. It works with the area's own varieties, grenache and carignan, together with cabernet sauvignon. Its range includes Torroja Vi de Vila, a red under Torroja's village wine designation, as well as the reds Del Tros, Vertical, Sabaté i Mur CS and Sabaté i Mur GX, and a sweet wine. The Falstaff guide reviewed its 2016 Torroja Vi de Vila. The winery sells its wines directly in Torroja and takes part in the Nit de Vins de Torroja del Priorat, the village's annual showcase of local producers.
