Señorio del Pas
About the winery
It is a 4-hectare estate of sandy loam soil on a south-facing slope at an altitude of 350-400 metres in San Martín de Villafufre (Cantabria), planted with 20% Gewürztraminer and 80% Godello. We work our wine in the field to obtain grapes in perfect condition so that we do not have to “cook” it in the winery. It is a trellised vineyard with a training wire one metre above the ground to avoid the humidity of the soil and thus have better ventilation. We keep a cover crop to respect the natural balance of the soil.
