About the winery
Succés Vinícola is the winery of a couple who met in 2008 while studying oenology and began making wine in 2009 in the garage of the family home. In 2011 they created the brand in a shared winery in Barberà de la Conca, where most of their vineyards are, and in 2016 they settled in Pira, in the D.O. Conca de Barberà. In 2022 they bought Pira’s old modernist cooperative, one of the wine cathedrals designed by Cèsar Martinell, which they are adapting to move all production there. They make organic, fresh wines with no additives, using the grapes’ own yeasts, such as Experiència, a Parellada fermented on its skins, or Patxanga, a rosé from old-vine Trepat. The guided visit takes in the winery and its history and ends with a tasting of three wines.
