About the winery
Talleri Berria is a txakoli winery in Morga, in the heart of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve and within the D.O. Bizkaiko Txakolina. It was founded in 2011 by a group of txakoli enthusiasts, and its first wine was Bitxia. Its vineyards are spread across Lezama, Larrabetzu, Morga and Muxika, with Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratia as the main variety, alongside Hondarrabi Zuri, Riesling and Hondarrabi Beltza. They produce fresh, Atlantic-style txakolis such as Bitxia Berria, Gure Aberria, KAberri, Munarri, TX Berria and Gure Natura. The building, with a curved roof recalling the old local roof tiles, has a large terrace overlooking the vines. It is open all year and offers visits with tastings of its txakolis, vineyard walks and meals for groups.
