About the winery
Tierras de Cebreros is a winery in the D.O.P. Cebreros, on the outskirts of Cebreros in the Alberche valley, in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos. The project was driven by Lidio Nieto Jiménez, who joined several small plots to create an estate vineyard surrounding the winery, with old bush vines and newer trellised plantings. Garnacha Tinta is the main grape, alongside Albillo Real and a little Tempranillo. Its Sursum Corda range, made from Garnacha, runs from a young wine through a Roble to a Crianza, while Panis Angelorum is a barrel-aged Albillo Real. It offers guided visits with a tasting in a room with an aroma tunnel, and the complex also includes a rural hotel, a restaurant and an art space.
