About the winery
Urkizahar organic txakoli is based on the concept of the micro-vineyard. The aim is none other than to revive rural agriculture in Gipuzkoa and to promote and recover an ethical commitment to the ecosystem. Our vineyard covers 2.5 hectares spread over two plots, between 350 m and 450 m above sea level, facing south over the Ibai-eder reservoir, in the municipality of Beizama. It is the highest vineyard in the «Getariako Txakolina» designation of origin.
