About the winery

Vi d'Auba is a winery in Felanitx, in Mallorca's Pla i Llevant D.O., which began as a hobby of four friends and released its first wines in 2009 with winemaker Jaume Bergadà. Today he runs it himself together with grower Simón Oliver. All the vineyards are their own and dry-farmed: some are in Felanitx sites such as Aubocassa, Son Amaret and Son Nadal, on the red soil known as call vermell, with vines over fifty years old of Callet, Manto Negro, Premsal and Giró Ros, and some in Son Bennassar, next to the winery. They work with organic practices and a small flock of lambs among the vines. They make Picot red, rosé and white, Petit Picot and Vinya Bella, and offer guided tastings and vineyard tours.
