About the winery
Viñas Leizaola acquired the El Sacramento property in March 2011. Leizaola, originally from Gipuzkoa in the north of the Basque Country, is the surname of the maternal family of the current owner, Etienne Cordonnier, who with this project aims to return to his family roots and to offer a wine that reflects the professional wine education of the Cordonnier family, which has been working for three generations as an agent for numerous world-class wines on the Belgian market.
