Vinícola de Castilla

About the winery

Vinícola de Castilla is the winery in Manzanares (Ciudad Real), in the La Mancha D.O., with which the Bellido family entered the wine world in 1982. Félix Bellido came from the craft of leather and fashion in Madrid; after settling in an old Castilian house among vineyards, the family decided to make their own wines and bought this winery. The following year saw the birth of Señorío de Guadianeja, their best-known brand, which today includes an encascado Airén and a Cencibel. Under the Familia Bellido umbrella they also make the Olimpo range, with Cencibel, Chardonnay and a cava, and have opened new projects such as La Cendra, in the Sierra de Gredos, with high-altitude Garnacha and Albillo Real.
