About the winery
Located in the heart of the Priorat, Vinícola del Priorat is heir to the local cooperatives of the villages of Gratallops (1917), El Lloar (1930), La Vilella Alta (1933) and La Vilella Baixa (1919). Vinícola del Priorat was born in 1991 to bring together the production of the area's farmers, who decided to join forces out of the need for technological renewal in the processes of making wine and oil, and following new trends in the promotion and marketing of their products, without ever losing a tradition that goes back a very long way.
