About the winery
Although the last wineries in Santa Margalida had gradually closed over the course of the 20th century, the municipality lies in a geographical setting with a great winegrowing tradition. In fact, it is documented that in the 17th century Ramon Safortesa Fuster, the famous Comte Mal, leased part of his land to his knights for planting vines and subsequently producing wine.
