About the winery
Located in Galicia, in the heart of Valdeorras, Adega A Coroa has stood since the 18th century in a magical place, a crown-shaped promontory that gives it its name, over the ruins of an ancient Romanised hillfort and surrounded by vineyards where traces of its history still emerge. Considered one of the oldest wineries in Galicia, the first A Coroa project was born around 1750 from the love of an overseas general for a beautiful local woman, her land and its wines.
