Altos de Rioja
About the winery
Altos de Rioja has a new winery, built at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria. It is located in the village of Elvillar, in one of the highest spots in the Rioja Designation of Origin and with some of its best vineyards, at almost 700 metres of altitude. The new 1,800-square-metre winery is a modern, functional building designed for making quality wines. 80% of its barrels are French oak (Taransaud, Saury, François Frères) and the remaining 20% American oak (Canton).
