About the winery
A winery with a tradition of more than 70 years, one of the founders of the Rueda D.O. Creators of the Mantel Blanco wine. In 1941 Modesto Alvarez Romero and Eladio Díez Ossorio created the company Alvarez y Díez, S.A. In 1977 Enrique J. de Benito began a thorough restructuring, based on a change in business philosophy. The current facilities were built, equipped with the most modern winemaking techniques of the time.
