Antoni Giribet is a family winery in Preixana, in the Urgell area, within the Valls del Riu Corb subzone of the D.O. Costers del Segre, a land of cold winters with thick fog and hot, dry summers. All its wines come from its own grapes, from the Mas de Móra and Piques estates in Verdú, planted with Syrah, Ull de Llebre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes are sorted in the vineyard, each variety is fermented separately in steel tanks, and the wines are aged in French and American oak barrels. Its range of reds includes Glops, a blend of the four varieties; Simpàtic, from Merlot; Pampalluga, from Cabernet Sauvignon; Gínjol, from Syrah; and Mil Sons, from Ull de Llebre with a little Cabernet, several of them organic.
