About the winery
The earliest documents found show that as early as 964, txakoli production in Laudio was a common and widespread practice among the valley's farmers. Since 964, when txakoli was first recorded in this valley, there is mention of the monastery of San Victor y Santiago de Gardea receiving donations of vineyards; more than a thousand years later, in the same place, the Beldui winery began selling its first txakoli vintages.
