About the winery

Belondrade was born in 1994 from Didier Belondrade's determination to make a great white wine in Castile, and since 2000 its winery has stood in La Seca, in the heart of the D.O. Rueda. Everything revolves around Verdejo, grown at Quinta San Diego across plots such as Tomillar Grande, Tomillar Pequeño and Camino Ventosa, joined in 2016 by two old vineyards, La Alameda and La Cruz. It has been certified organic since 2010 and favours spontaneous fermentations. Its best-known wine is Belondrade y Lurton, alongside Quinta Apolonia, its most varietal take on Verdejo, the rosé Quinta Clarisa and special releases such as Les Parcelles.
