About the winery
The basis of the high quality of the wines made by the winery undoubtedly lies in the location of its vineyards, an exceptional climate and the good adaptation of the Moscatel de Alejandría variety to life in the Axarquía. The vineyards are on the ridge separating the villages of Moclinejo and Almáchar. This vineyard is flanked by La Maroma (the highest peak in Málaga), the Comares mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The soil is made up of decomposing slate plates joined together by thin layers of earth where water is retained.
