About the winery
Toro wine, recognised since time immemorial as a synonym of quality, was the main reason why Antonio Velasco, our father, moved to Toro from his native Medina del Campo in the first half of the last century to start a new life. At just 16 years old, and thanks to the experience gained with his father, a wine dealer in the lands of Serrada and Rueda, he created his first winemaking business, called Bodegas e Industrias Velasco.
