About the winery
The slopes of the Montes Obarenes are the territory. Hanging between the bed of the River Tirón and the crags of Jembres are the sites. These mountains are nothing other than the continuation of the Sierra de Cantabria when it manages to leap across the Ebro, creating the Conchas de Haro. This marginal growing area, fairly unknown in terms of wineries though not of vineyards, is precisely the north-eastern apex of the Ebro Tertiary Trough (the Ebro valley). The area is characterised by Oligocene-Miocene continental sediments (Haro Facies) belonging to the continental Tertiary.
