About the winery
Gone are the old wine presses for pressing the grapes and the large vats where the wine was racked. Also fallen into disuse are those labyrinthine underground cellars built in search of an even storage temperature. Fortunately, the passage of time has not erased these traces, and today they are part of the heritage of Bodega Alvides. But our story begins with two small vineyards and a humble farming couple from Villalba de Duero, specifically with the “La Virgen” and “Mirabueno” plots of no more than half a hectare.
