About the winery
Bodegas Andrea Gutiérrez is a family winery in Fuente Encalada, in the north of the province of Zamora, right on the border with León, and part of the D.O.P. Valles de Benavente. It was founded in 2002 with the aim of making the most of this distinctive area, looking after the vineyard with care and making wine in the traditional way. It produces wines with their own character from the family's vineyards. Its range includes the white FuentePaz, from Verdejo and Malvasía, the rosé Valzuquino, from Prieto Picudo, the variety most closely linked to the area, and two Tempranillo reds, Valzuquino Roble and Valzuquino Crianza. It is a good example of the work of the small producers in this Zamora appellation.
