Bodega Bela

About the winery

Bela is the winery CVNE opened in 2017 in Villalba de Duero, in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, to make wines from its own vineyards spread across several villages in the appellation, some 83 hectares between Villalba de Duero and Moradillo de Roa. The modern wood-and-glass building houses an underground barrel room. Its name recalls Sofía Real de Asúa, daughter of one of CVNE's founders, whom the family called Bela. The team, led by winemaker Sara Juan, aims to turn Ribera's natural power into fine, elegant wines. Its labels are Bela, from Villalba de Duero, Arano, from Moradillo de Roa, and Finca Vallejo. The winery offers various activities and visits on site.
